# Device Info

> View device information and restart the system

This page helps you view device information and reboot the system when needed

## 📊 Device Information (Info)

### 📝 Information Displayed

When you open the Info page, you'll see:

> * **Version**: Firmware version
> * **Build Date**: Firmware build date
> * **Board**: Board name (e.g., `XIAO ESP32-C5`)

> * **Flash Size**: Flash memory size
> * **Free Heap**: Available memory at that moment
> * **Chip Model**: Chip model

> [accordion] Network Information
>
> * **Wi-Fi MAC**: Wi-Fi MAC Address
> * **BT MAC**: Bluetooth MAC Address
> * **Status**: Module operation status

> * **Internal**: Internal space (used/total)
> * **SD Card**: microSD space (if available)
> * **Free Space**: Remaining free space

> **When to check Info:**

> * Before updating Firmware (check old version)
> * When reporting issues to support
> * Check free space before saving files
> * View MAC Address for network configuration

## BLE

> Set the name shown to other devices when using Bad BLE

> Set the battery value reported by Bluetooth HID

## WIFI

## Radio

Use `Freq` to configure the CC1101 frequency:

`300.000` · `303.875` · `315.000` · `433.920` · `868.350` · `915.000 MHz` · `Custom MHz`

## 🔄 Restart System (Reboot)

>
> **Before Reboot:**
>
> * Save your current work
> * Stop active features
> * Verify no files are transferring

### When Should You Reboot?

> [card] 🐛 Screen acting strange
>
> Screen frozen, displaying incorrectly, or flickering

> [card] 🔌 Bluetooth/Wi-Fi not working
>
> Cannot connect or cannot find devices

> [card] ⚠️ Feature errors
>
> Some features not working properly

> Some settings require reboot to take effect

### Reboot Steps

**1. Open Reboot page**

Open `Device → Reboot`

**2. Confirm**

Select `Reboot` to confirm or `Cancel` to abort

**3. Wait for restart**

Device will shut down, wait about 5-10 seconds, then restart automatically

**4. Verify**

Check that it enters the main menu normally

> **Reboot vs. Manual Power Cycle:**
>
> * **Reboot**: System shuts down and starts itself, faster
> * **Manual power cycle**: Use side switch, wait 5 seconds before turning back on

> Both methods produce the same result
