# SPAM

> Test BLE notifications with authorized devices.

Use this page to test BLE notifications with your own phone.

Menu path: `Bluetooth → SPAM`

> Test only in a controlled area and stop immediately when finished; nearby devices belonging to other people may receive notifications.

## Choose a preset

Choose the preset that matches the test device:

> [card] iOS
>
> Supported Apple devices

> [card] Samsung
>
> Supported Samsung devices

> [card] Android
>
> Supported Android devices

> [card] Microsoft
>
> Supported Microsoft devices

> [card] Random
>
> Cycle through several data formats

## Start and stop

**1. Prepare the test phone**

Place your phone near C5TAKO™ and enable Bluetooth.

**2. Choose a preset**

Open `Bluetooth → SPAM` and choose the preset that matches the device.

**3. Start the test**

Press the center button to start and observe the response on your phone.

**4. Stop**

Use [the feature-stop procedure](https://c5tako.zipher.space/en/getting-started/controls.md#stop-an-active-feature) immediately when finished.
