# APP

> Use Buzzer, Flashlight, MAP, and NMAP.

The `APP` menu contains device and network utilities.

## 🔊 Buzzer

Menu path: `APP → Buzzer`

> [card] Play Music
>
> Play a bundled sample tune

> [card] Play Note
>
> Play the selected note or frequency

> [card] Test Buzzer
>
> Preview each notification sound

**1. Choose a sound type**

Open `APP → Buzzer`, then select `Play Music` or `Play Note`.

**2. Choose a sound**

Use up/down to move through the list, then press the center button to play it.

**3. Stop sound**

Press the center button to stop playback. Wait for playback to stop, then press left to go back. If the display does not respond, use [the feature-stop procedure](https://c5tako.zipher.space/en/getting-started/controls.md#stop-an-active-feature).

> [!NOTE]
>
> 🎬 **Media to add:** A Buzzer clip showing “Choose Play Music → play → stop → choose Play Note”; keep the clip volume at a safe level.

## 🔦 Flashlight

```text theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light","dark":"dracula"}}
APP → Flashlight
```

Use the screen as a light source. Follow the hint at the bottom of the display to turn it on, change its color, or turn it off. To exit, use [the feature-stop procedure](https://c5tako.zipher.space/en/getting-started/controls.md#stop-an-active-feature).

> [!NOTE]
>
> 🎬 **Media to add:** A Flashlight clip showing on, color change, off, and holding the center button to exit.

> [!TIP]
>
> The Flashlight uses light from the display. It is suitable for close-range illumination, not as a high-power torch.

## 🗺️ MAP

`APP → MAP` connects to the selected Wi-Fi AP and opens the map view. If no scan results exist, the device starts an AP scan and selection flow first.

## 🔎 NMAP

`APP → NMAP` discovers devices on the selected Wi-Fi network, then scans an IPv4 target on the same local network.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Use MAP and NMAP only on networks you own or are authorized to test.
